Khatabook's content blog drives roughly one million monthly visits — a significant organic channel for a fintech brand building trust with small business owners. The library had grown to thousands of pages covering accounting, GST, invoicing and business operations, and keeping that content accurate and optimized was becoming a bottleneck.
Every regulatory change, product update or SEO refinement meant manual edits page by page. A single content refresh could take hours, and rolling changes across the full library was measured in weeks. The team was spending more time maintaining content than creating it, and the backlog of pages needing updates kept growing.

What we did
We catalogued the types of changes the team made repeatedly — meta updates, internal link refreshes, CTA swaps, schema adjustments and compliance copy — and identified which could be templated and which required human review.
Automation pipelines were designed to apply defined changes across page sets filtered by category, publish date or content type. Each batch ran with preview and rollback capability so the team could verify before pushing live.
Reusable blocks for CTAs, disclaimers, related links and structured data were separated from page body content, so updates to shared elements propagated automatically rather than requiring per-page edits.
More than 8,000 pages were updated in a single automated batch — work that would previously have taken the content team weeks of manual effort, completed in seconds.
